The Magufulisation of Africa is the vision and mission to translate the leadership paradigm of President John Pombe Magufuli of Tanzania into a leadership model, inspiration, motivation, challenge, change, possibility, and a new leadership paradigm for African leaders.

The ultimate aim is to reenact and restore the leadership values of Africa's post-independence revolutionary leaders like Dr Kwame Nkrumah of Ghana, Julius Nyerere of Tanzania,  Patrice Lumumba of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Thomas Sankara of Burkina Faso, Jerry John Rawlings of Ghana, Ahmed Sékou Touré, of  Guinea, epitomised by President John Pombe Magufuli of Tanzania.

The Magufulisation of Africa is the way forward for Africa's leadership renaissance in the 21st century.

The people of a nation or society can miss the inspiration required for their advancement if they fail to see the change they yearn for in those unique individuals that epitomise it.

Come to think of where Africa would have been if African leaders at all levels imbibed the spirit of leadership of Africa's post-independence revolutionary leaders!

What if these legends had their effigies across Africa and our most distinguished universities named after them? What if we told their stories, principles, and accomplishments to upcoming generations at every educational level?

What if our leaders were voted based on the values they exemplified? Don't we think the spirit they represented could have inspired and established African leaders on a positive trajectory? 

The United States of America is the greatest nation in the world, but most people do not know that, culturally, the strength of the USA lies in its past. The stories of great American presidents, scientists, Military personnel, educators, civil rights leaders, and others have inspired Americans. 

 Presidents of the USA often make known their past hero President as a custom upon taking office. President Obama chose Abraham Lincoln, the 16th U.S. President, and President Donald Trump, Ronald Reagan, the 40th U.S. President.

 Africans must start celebrating our heroes and legends in all fields and imbibe the spirit of patriotism, excellence, dedication, faith, and positive values they represent. That is the way to go! Let us write our history, tell our stories, celebrate our heroes, and emulate their examples.

Although that has not been the practice, it is never too late to change. We cannot cry over spilt milk; let us seize the opportunity to run with the vision of the Magufulisation of Africa as the beginning of Africa's leadership renaissance in the 21st century.
